to an overlay file for HP-LaserJet compatible
printers. An Overlay will place the print
image on every page without the need to
resend the file to the printer. This is great
for applications such as letterheads,
graphics, logos and text. More than one
Overlay can be loaded at a time and you can
use printer control codes to change the
active Overlay. MS-Word is supported.

POR2LND.ZIP Yes 16622 6/22/1989
Por2Land 1.0 will convert any HP LaserJet
soft font from portrait mode to landscape
mode. The program operates on each font
character bit-map, rotating the bit-map 90
degrees counterclockwise. The
character-height, -width and -offset
parameters for each character are reset as
appropriate to the rotated result, and the
font header and character headers are altered
so that the printer will recognize the font
as landscape rather than portrait. (Harry
Conroy) (Reg.Fee: $20)
POSTER.ZIP Yes 71325 4/12/1994
Poster lets you create posters of large
text. It starts by downloading a large font
(either normal or shadow, about 60 point)
into the HPLJ and then displays an editing
area of about 20 lines of 45 characters. When
finished typing your poster, the program will
print it using the large font. Unfortunately,
the fonts are proportionally pitched, which
makes it difficult to position text or get
equal left and right margins. (S. E. Dr.
Reyer) (Reg.Fee: $?)
